Thinking back 2015 under the lights

This annual illumination event have started this week. Many tourists and locals are coming to Kobe to enjoy walking  through these arcades of lights.

"Kobe Luminarie" - stands for the requiem for the victims at the Great Earthquake in Kobe - January 17, 1995. 

It is for the revival of the city, dreams and hopes. The first time took place in December, the same year as the earthquake.

"Luminarie" means Illuminazione Per Feste.

At the end of the year of 2015, we are truly grateful and seriously  pray for  world peace!
